Paul West - River Cottage Australia showcases the Greenleaf Bag and Farmers Feed My Family

Paul West – River Cottage Australia showcases the Greenleaf Bag and Farmers Feed My Family

It’s official … Farmers Feed My Family is now spreading the word and connecting families with fresh produce and the farmers who grow it! We had an awesome response at Regional Flavours in Brisbane last weekend and have teamed up with the Greenleaf Bag to promote our message.

The Greenleaf Bag is natural….not plastic….the best way to keep your produce crisp, crunchy and healthy, naturally in the fridge …. just how our farmers intended it to be…. find out more about the Greenleaf Bag here.

It was great to catch up with Alastair McLeod, Al’FreshCo and Deniz Coskun, Executive Chef, Pig & Whistle and the Mantle Group, at Regional Flavours. Hope you enjoy using our Greenleaf Bags guys.

We were over the moon that chef-turned-farmer Paul West, River Cottage Australia, also showcased Farmers Feed My Family at the Epicurious Garden as part of Regional Flavours.

Paul grew up in country NSW and now is based on a farm in picturesque Central Tilba where he gets back to basics. He shows how food crops and animals compliment each other and nothing ever goes to waste. (River Cottage Australia is an Australian adaption of the English franchise of the same name) We love what you are doing to promote fresh farm produce, Paul and hope you like our philosophy too.

Regional Flavours

Regional Flavours1Wow…. how amazing was Regional Flavours at Southbank in Brisbane last weekend! If you missed it, make sure you put it on your calendar for next year.

Showcasing our fresh farmers produce from regional Queensland to the metropolitan audience is so important and this event certainly showed that there is enormous interest in regional foods.

We produce such an abundant array of fresh produce in Queensland and many people have little idea of what is grown right on their doorstep. That is why these types of events are so worthwhile for both the farmers and families.

Regional Flavours2The Lockyer Valley and Darling Downs are  extremely fertile farming regions which grow a huge diversity of fresh produce….. and it doesn’t have to travel far to get to either Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast and be on your table…. fresh for your family!

The Regional Flavours event team did a phenomenal job in creating a fantastic event with an awesome atmosphere. I loved the Lockyer Valley Picnic Patch ….complete with mats, comfy cushions, legless tables and beautiful herbs. Congratulations to all involved!

Farmers Feed My Family launch

July 16, 2015 By FFMF

NewGLB_FFMY2Excitement is building as we prepare to launch our new slogan with the Greenleaf bags at Regional Flavours at Brisbane’s Southbank this weekend – 17th & 18th July.

It has been a whirlwind journey so far…. getting the logo designed, choosing colours, getting the bags made and screen printed not to mention the websites, flyers signs and a whole lot more.

We have teamed up in a new partnership combining Greenleaf Bag and Farmers Feed My Family to encourage you to really look at where and how your food is grown and to begin to eliminate plastic from food storage.

Can’t wait to start telling you more about it but for now….. here is a sneak peek at both the back and front of our bags.
