Showcasing our fresh farmers produce from regional Queensland to the metropolitan audience is so important and this event certainly showed that there is enormous interest in regional foods.
We produce such an abundant array of fresh produce in Queensland and many people have little idea of what is grown right on their doorstep. That is why these types of events are so worthwhile for both the farmers and families.
The Lockyer Valley and Darling Downs are extremely fertile farming regions which grow a huge diversity of fresh produce….. and it doesn’t have to travel far to get to either Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast and be on your table…. fresh for your family!
The Regional Flavours event team did a phenomenal job in creating a fantastic event with an awesome atmosphere. I loved the Lockyer Valley Picnic Patch ….complete with mats, comfy cushions, legless tables and beautiful herbs. Congratulations to all involved!
